Temple of the Dragon returns as a compact e-rig glass top, recreating one of Milkyway’s most detailed and well-loved designs.
The original told the story of a cathedral built by the Skull Emperor from the bones of Darthor the Dragon, created to amplify Horan’s Bio-Tech sword, Kamitoh. This edition brings that same world to a smaller form, retaining the skulls, dragon imagery, and hidden details that made the first release special.
A 2-hole disc perc sits inside the pocket chamber for smooth filtration, a balanced water level, and reduced splashback. Detailed Micro-SB sandblasting and fire-polishing preserve the depth and character of the original. Click here to see the original rig.
Designer’s Notes
Temple of the Dragon has always been one of my favourite pieces. The two tube sizes create real depth: larger skulls on the lower tube feel closer, while the smaller upper tube becomes the background.
Scaling it down was a challenge. Every line and sandblast depth had to be carefully balanced to keep the details clean. I am really happy with how closely this version captures the original.
