Dab Rigs

A dab rig heats concentrate on a quartz banger until it vaporizes. The vapor is drawn through water in the rig, which cools and filters it before you inhale. Our dab rigs have a 14mm joint for a standard banger.

A dab rig is smaller and built for concentrates heated in a quartz banger. A bong is larger and built for dry herb in a bowl. A dab rig's shorter path keeps more flavor, while a bong's larger chamber gives bigger hits.

Yes. Swap the banger for a 14mm bowl and a dab rig works like a small bong. Because the chamber is small, hits will be smaller than from a full-size bong.

Yes. Water cools and filters the vapor. Add enough to cover the perc slits, but not so much that it splashes up through the mouthpiece.

Our dab rigs use a 14mm female joint, the most common size. Several include a quartz banger so they're ready to use; check the "Includes" line on each product page. Any standard 14mm male banger fits, including our premium quartz bangers.

Our dab rigs range from 6 to 16 inches. Rigs of 6 to 8 inches keep the vapor path short, which preserves flavor. Taller rigs add more water and filtration for smoother hits.

Let the banger cool, then remove it and clean it separately. Fill the rig with 90% or higher isopropyl alcohol or a resin cleaner, cover the openings and shake gently, then rinse well with warm water and let it dry fully. Most of our dab rigs use a showerhead perc. Others use tree, inline, mini Pirelli or recycler designs, and our puck-base rigs use donut-style percolation for splash-free filtration. Each product page names the perc.
