What is sandblasting?

Sandblasting is a specialized technique for transforming the surface of glass by using fine abrasive particles travelling at high velocity. The process requires a blasting nozzle and an air compressor, which pushes the particles, which are often silica sand or aluminum oxide, toward the glass.

As these particles hit the glass, they remove a thin layer of the material, which results in a frosted appearance or detailed etching. This allows our artisans to create stunning and highly intricate designs and images on all of our glass bongs, beakers, and water pipes, ensuring they stand out from the crowd.
